Version 5.5.30

Power LogOn Manager:

  • Power LogOn can be configured to exclude selected characters from the password and PIN policies.
  • While Power LogOn is installed and activated for Windows logon, users that have logged in manually can change their password without requiring a card.  
  • New logon entries on Template cards start out with all permissions given. This is more convenient when testing out new logon sites / entries. The default used to be ‘no permissions’.

Power Logon Manager + Power LogOn Administrator:

  • Power LogOn Administrator server can send an email to a mobile user whenever the user’s Windows password  was automatically changed by Power LogOn.
  • Power LogOn Administrator server can be configured to create an encrypted password letter whenever a user’s Windows password  was automatically changed by Power LogOn. The encrypted password letters can be viewed within Power LogOn Administrator after an administrator has logged in.

Power LogOn Manager:

  • Deactivated filter for OEM-specific readers.
  • Updates for Window 10 32-bit installations.
  • Support for new RFIdeas CCID reader (model RDR-80586AKU).
  • Updated Load Logon Entries file “Office365 wizard 20220106.spx”.
  • Added License Card option for standalone versions.
  • Improved Mobile License Code handling.
  • Extend db field (“Fax”), which holds MobileEmail from 30 to 50 characters.
  • Fixed: double-click or right click on sys tray icon when card is not on reader resulted in delays.

Power LogOn Manager:

  • Reviewed and updated internal security features.
  • CredProvider – improved handling when trying to start program that needs elevated permissions when logged in user is standard user.

Power Logon Manager + Power LogOn Administrator:

• Updated PIV/Global Platform card interface with improved collision handling.
• Updated: Quickstart.pdf.
• Updated SecuGen BioApi interface.

  • Restore Card and Reader Config when restoring backup file.
  • Improved CM Backup/sync utility.

Power Logon Manager:

  • When Allow to Bypass is unchecked: Use Smart Card to Logon checkbox is disabled.
  • Added DESFire authentication support as part of standard setup package.
  • New Additional Functions:

“<EnableWrongPwdDlg>True</EnableWrongPwdDlg>” enables “Logon Failed” dialog even when the Windows Logon entry permissions are disabled.

  • PKI standalone versions: added SAS licensing.
  • PKI standalone versions: improved TransferEnrollment.exe.
  • PKI standalone versions: overall improved user enrollment process.

Power Logon Manager + Power LogOn Administrator:

  • Windows Server 2012, 2016, 2019: Registry permissions to allow Power LogOn to set/remove “Allow to bypass card logon.
  • CredentialProvider update after Microsoft released Windows update …802 in 2021 that caused the right-arrow and “Use last entry” checkbox to be greyed out on first screen.
  • Added additional pop-up window where user selects “more…“, hits Enter, or it times out.
